Hewlett Packard Talks Of Discontinuing PC business

Okay, why am I just now hearing that Hewlett Packard, my favorite manufacturer of technology consumer goods and services may be closing down its doors? I am not happy about this to say the least.

I have always loved HP for their customer support. I won't mention my emotional attachments to their products. Do you know what this could mean? I might have to just start building them myself, lol! I am shaking my head in disguist and disbelief. It hasn't been etched in stone yet, but just the mere talk of such a thing frigtens me.

Who Shot The PC?

So I am completely over my laptop. I have put more files on it than it can stand and I just cannot buy another one right now. I am flooded. Thank goodness for my little PC maintenance scan. It saves me during some very strenuous times. You can't imagine what it is like to try and get work done and have PC issues all in the same breathe. You guys won't believe I went to dump my system onto my external and the port extension broke. I was livid to say the least. I actually was being cheap when I purchased the thing, but I figured it would only be for a short while, then I'd invest in one that was more durable and of better quality. Well that time is now because this one was just a waste of money in my eyes. Now, I have to fix this one to obtain my files. This is when online back up systems are useful.

Don't skimp on the products and or services you use to store your information. Always learning the hard way isn't fun. Ugggggg!!

I created a page here dedicated to back up. I put some resources there of where you guys could find some quality storage devices and back up services. I have used these products myself and have been fond of the quality and performance. I have gotta start adding my reviews on the site of the products. Give me a little bit on that. I will broadcast it in the newsletter once I have done so.

If you are in the market for storage devices for your information click on the icon below. Iomega says quality. I especially like the fact that I can create my own look to my product for personality! Check them out!

The Importance Of Regular PC Maintenance

I cannot stress enough to those of us who use computers the importance of regular maintenance. It can save you a world of trouble. Because having PC problems is so unpredictable its a good thing to know some very basic information about your machine.

Regular PC maintenance saves the owner a lot of money, time, and energy. It's a little known secret that you can drastically increase the life span of your computer with this minimally used weapon. Sadly, when we buy computers we are not informed of the importance of regular maintenance.

If you use a computer, you should know how to maintenance it. ANYONE can do it. There is no need to call a PC technician for maintenance. Once you begin to maintenance your own computer you will see that this can almost eliminate ever having a problem at all. I won't say an issue may never arise, but maintenance can certainly severely reduce performance issues.

I urge you to take advantage of one of my info webinars and sign up for my free online newsletter about this untapped resource. It is my intent to increase awareness on a very large scale.

PC Maintenance and Repair Blog

This blog is designed to help you find ways to sustain your windows xp/vista/7 computer and ensure your pc remains clean and swift throughout its life. Computers quickly get bombarded with junk files, invalid registry entries, a fragmented hard drive, spyware, adware, low disk space, and more. A fast system is just a few clicks away, although sometimes it’s hard to know where to start or even what to do.
I set up, build, and maintain personal computers for companies, friends, and family. The advice I will share here on this blog is what I use when maintaining my personal computer or any PC. My tips are tried and tested and have left many people satisfied with the knowledge they gain and the way their computers work. I hope you too are able to find the information I provide useful and easy to follow. The instructions are simple and will guarantee that you enjoy an error-free, clean, and quick PC.
The purpose of this blog is not to define the definitive solution; its purpose is to give you simple, unbiased advice on what I consider with my personal experience to be the best options out there. On this blog I only give advice and share programs that I personally use and can speak eloquently on. Some programs seem to be great when you first use them; however most often they quickly become annoyances or begin to slow down your computer.
If you have any questions about computer maintenance or just a general PC issue, by all means head over to the Windows Forums where you’ll find friendly knowledgeable members who are happy to assist in your learning. If you disagree with anything on this blog please join us and share your solutions as well. I love to teach, but more importantly I enjoy learning.
